| Thursday 26th February | Diana Guy: "Beyond the Garden Gate, Including a History of the NGS" Diana was BBC Gardener of the Year 2004, and is currently involved in a new BBC series: Gardener of the Decade to be screened on the 12th of December 2008. Her new garden will be shown on the BBC's Gardener's World on the 5th of December 2008. Diana will be bringing along some plants for sale. |
| Thursday 26th March | Peter & Jill Pitman: "A Quart in a Pint Pot, Changes at Mews Cottage"Peter & Jill garden on Portland Bill and own one of the National Collections of Penstemons. They are enthusiastic members of the NGS and open their garden to visitors in July and August. |

| Saturday 9th May | SPRING SALE Doors open 10.00 a.m at the Upton Community Centre, BH16 5JA.Plants, pots, cakes for sale at very reasonable prices, come along and fill your garden with colour and interest. |
| Thursday 28th May | Ben Turner: "Houseplants"
Ben Turner became Head Gardener at the World famous Compton Acres in January 2008. In 2006 he won the Institute of Horticulture's Young Horticulturist of the Year competition. He will be giving us an illustrated talk and bringing along some plants for sale. |
| Thursday 25thJune | Joy Wallis: "Gardening for Wildlife"Joy Wallis is People and Wildlife Officer from the Dorset Wildlife Trust: She will be telling us how to provide food, water, shelter and places to breed in the garden so our gardens can become a haven for wildlife. |
| Thursday 23rd July | Ian Willis: "The Secret Garden at Serles House"Ian Willis will be sharing the secrets of his fascinating garden with us. If you would like to see it for yourself, go along to the NGS open day on Saturday the 6th of December, from 6pm to 9pm. The address is 47 VIctoria Road, Wimborne BH21 1EN, Adm: £3.50, Children free. There will be wine and mince pies, live piano music and Father Christmas. |
